SHOWREEL

Presenter/Reporter

From the grounds of Wimbledon to the Olympic figure skating venue and beyond, Nick's reporting style is wholly him: Approachable, curious, factual and energetic. His on-camera presence coupled with his journalistic background has been showcased since 2017 on The Wimbledon Channel, as well as covering the 2018 Winter Olympics for NBC and the 2022 Games for Olympics.com. While chasing a story down is something he adores, he is just as in command in the studio, serving as co-presenter for the French Open's Live @ RG from 2017-19, as well as featuring as one of the lead voices on US Open Now in 2019 and anchoring Ice Desk live at major U.S. Figure Skating events from 2017-19. Additionally, Nick served as a field reporter for ATP Tennis Radio in 2018 and 2019.

Emcee

"Emcee" is an all-encompassing term when it comes to Nick's work: From a black-tie gala at Wimbledon for the WTA to announcing on the iconic Althea Gibson Club Court in Charleston, S.C., Nick understands that each audience is asking for something different when he has a microphone in his hand. Nick has hosted Q&A-style panels for Laver Cup, APG, the USTA, U.S. Figure Skating and Team USA while also serving as the on-court emcee in front of thousands on the Grandstand courts at the US Open and Miami Open. Nick's strength comes from understanding a client's need - and delivering.

Commentator

Having first stepped into the commentary booth in 2018, Nick's approach is conversational, informative and all about storytelling. He has covered four US Opens and two Australian Opens in the booth, commentating on the likes of Naomi Osaka, Stan Wawrinka, Victoria Azarenka and more. Nick's aim is clear: Bring the viewer in with insight and intriguing dialogue with his co-commentator... and let the sport do the rest of the talking. Nick's radio work has included commentary for all four tennis majors, as well as the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and ATP Tennis Radio.

Writer

Nick earned his journalism degree in a writing-intensive program at Seattle University in 2008 and left for New York City later that year. Not 12 months later he was published in the New York Times and his byline has appeared in notable publications, including The Guardian. For two years he served as chief tennis reporter for USA TODAY Sports (2015-16) and from summer 2020 to Feb. 2022 he was part of the editorial team on Olympics.com, where he led the figure skating coverage for Beijing 2022. While newswriting will always be his home, Nick loves features, human-interest stories and investigatory work. His 2015 piece for ESPN.com examined Olympic medal-winning figure skater Carolina Kostner’s fascinating doping case.
