March 2023 - LTA Grass Court Season

Planning the media operations for the LTA grass court season is a year-round affair, but really ramps up in March. Resourcing and managing media operations at seven events, Lexus Surbiton Trophy, Rothesay Nottingham Open, Lexus Ilkley Trophy, Rothesay Birmingham Classic, cinch Championships, Rothesay Eastbourne International and British Open Wheelchair Championships, in short period of time is a challenge, but the kind that we relish. In April we open accreditation for national and international media, and plan logistics for the on site media centres to be able to service the world’s media. The events and venues vary greatly in size, so when Andy Murray decides to play at the Lexus Surbiton Trophy, we have to plan a scaled up service to accommodate media interest at a very space-limited location.
