WTA Open de Rouen

Faye spent a week in Rouen practicing her (excellent) French on behalf of the WTA as its onsite communications manager for this busy WTA 250 tournament, which featured big names such as Naomi Osaka and Mirra Andreeva. Working closely with the local tournament team, this role involves player liaison, complementing the broader WTA team onsite and presenting the biggest governing body in women’s sport. A lot of her time was helping non-French speakers to pronounce Rouen - for the record, it’s “Roo-on”, not “Roo-en”.
