Wuhan Open 2019 International PR and Media Operations

For the past six years The Emilia Group has managed international PR and media operations at the Premier 5 Wuhan Open, one of the marquee WTA events of tennis’ ‘Asian Swing’. The Wuhan Open team is comprised of local and international staff and it’s been a privilege to be part of the tournament’s journey from brand new event to established and high profile international sports event. We’re pleased to say that this growth has been reflected in its international media coverage, which we have built year-on-year thanks to thoughtful PR planning in coordination with our PR Chinese colleagues, well executed player media opportunities, creative digital content creation, successful media outreach and working with the local team and volunteers to ensure a smooth media operation onsite.
